Helder Cavalcante, Brazilian artist born in 1990.
An artist indifferent to the representation imitating apparent reality. He prefers using art as an instrument to participate in life. Making use of the art’s poetic power to imagine possibilities and intervene in limits that are both visible and invisible.
In the urban environment he believes that the paintings penetrates in life in an intense manner, which leads him to consider painting as in situ art. He creates specific works for each environment leaving the context and the medium to instigate the creative process.
He researches human conditions and daily life seeking to transform them through drawings and paintings.
2022 is his first time participating in the BLOOP Festival.
